Mel and Angus went for a walk at a lovely little river trail called "The Blue Door Walk". It is named this because at the beginning of the trail is a stone wall with a blue door. The walk goes along the River Esk through the Glen Esk. Entry to the walk goes through.....The Blue Door.It is about 30 minutes from our house in Banchory.
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning to dance in the rain."
If we postponed our adventures and waited for the rain to stop,
we wouldn't get out much. We have determined that when we have something planned,
we will go, rain or shine--but mostly rain.

A side trail down to the river. There are also some large brown trout in the holes.
